What's the current XM sub price?
OK I think XM has been screwing me. They've been debiting a total of $66.67 every 3 months from my account for 2 radios (signed up back in 2004). The best I can tell is that I should be under the old agreement (Pre-Sirius) for a $12.95 sub + $6.99 family extra radio. That's $19.94. Do they add taxes and fees onto that? We are looking at $2.28 worth of fees. And does anyone else pay this way? I'd much rather pay month to month, especially if they aren't cutting me any breaks on the cost of the service.

I got a deal by paying for one year for two subs for around $170. Works out to about $7 a month for each sub.

Threaten to cancel. When the savage asks why, tell it that it's cheaper to get Pandora for a year (and that you don't want to finance Mel's jew toys and stuff). They'll offer you a retention rate of $77/radio/year.

I canceled my two radios, 27 a month turned into like 43 a month, their billing is full of bullshit add ons.
It cracks me up they think people are so stupid they can just say one thing and charge another and expect no one to notice.... fuck them till they decide to treat me like a custiomer, not an idiot.
These companys need to be up front with costs.. I don't tell people I charge 125.00 an hour then add shit.
Hour 125.00
Plumbing tax 8.00
Pipe fund 6.45
poop disposal charge 10.50
FUCK YOU.
I have overhead, It's in my rate.... 125.00 is what it costs you..... simple eh?
This is the shit that makes people go postal...It should be outlawed.

If you cancel on April 29th, they will charge you for the month of May aswell.
And then if you pay them the last bill in May, they will wait untill June to officaly cancel the account, so they can send you an invoice for June's bill. But if you don't pay that, they won't send it to bill collection, they are just fucking with you, and they know it, and they think your stupid enough not to know it.

No absolutley not. Legally when the companies merged all that goes out the window. Im pretty sure they aren't obligated to asure compliance from contracts with XM. I think they can change the details of the contract, because that's why when the merger went down, everybody was FORCED onto automatic bill pay. It was a bitch to get on the phone and get your shit not auto-renewed. They want people on auto-bill pay, so you can't object to changed in fees, and it makes it tougher to cancel. I cancelled and they started charge like $2.54 out of my bank account , and then maybe the next day they would do $1.98. I had to have my debit card # changed. And then not to mention, I got a fucking bill in the mail the next 2 months like I never even cancelled. I never even payed them, and they haven't done shit. They know they're just fucking with people.
EDIT: It's not worth it at ALL. There are ways on the internet to get free XM shows.

I never gave them CC info or bank accounts,,, they say they need them... but, they started up my radios and billed me like good lil greedy fucks.
I complained about my first bill, they bullshitted me some that time and appeased me... `was like 125.00.... so, I figure I'm good for awhile. nope... nother 125.00 bill soon after... fuck em.
I don't have time for bullshit & games.

Weird necropost but I am looking to reactivate my XM subscription (it's been cancelled for almost 2 years). I am wondering if anyone is aware of any good deals to resub old equipment. Any special codes to use or anything I need to ask the savage for on the phone when I call?
Not looking for the whole shebang but music channels and O & A would be fine.

I was around 50 something every 3 months when I canceled. I've been checking my statement s also to make sure they're not pulling any bullshit on me.
